Monday, a terrible tragedy visited the Boston Marathon. Meant to commemorate the Sandy Hook shootings, it instead became a calamity in its own right. The Hammill Post wishes the victims and loved ones of this disaster all the best.

Flag at Half-mast at Hammill Residence

The U.S. flag flies at half-mast at the Hammill residence in honor of those lost or injured at the Boston Marathon bombings.

We sincerely regret this incident claimed three lives and devastated the lives of so many. We hope for the speedy recovery of all injured. The flag flies at half-mast at the Hammill residence in honor of all lost or brought to harm.

The American Red Cross has set up a service to let family and friends know of the condition of disaster victims called “Safe and Well”. Follow the link to register or to search the database of registrants for the status of a loved one.

The city of Boston has set up hotlines for both families of victims and informants who have something to report to the local police. Persons with information also are encouraged to call the FBI tips hotline.
